Getafix

Getafix (Mike) is an OG of the New Zealand Jungle and drum & bass scene, having started DJing in 1999 and producing since 2002. Known for a signature sound that fuses dancehall influence with chopped-up drums and junglist energy aimed squarely at the dancefloor, he spent nine years as a resident on Auckland's Base FM and has released music on labels including Databass, Manic Jungle, Waking Life, and KLP Records. He remains one of New Zealand's most respected figures in the underground bass and jungle community.
