ASHEZ (Max Ashworth) is an Auckland-based bass music producer known for blending melodic, euphoric textures with crunchy basslines and influences drawn from drum and bass, breakbeat, garage, and jungle. After a formative 2017 trip to the US exposed him to the international bass music scene, he built a following through collaborations with artists like Opiuo and CloZee, and tours across North America including Shambhala and Lightning in a Bottle. He is widely recognised as one of New Zealand's leading exports in the global bass music underground.
